Expressionist painter Lesley Seeger produces contemporary paintings full of colour, vitality and beauty. She is best known for her semi-abstract interpretations of flowers and landscapes, exploration of colour and mark making are central to her work. Her many layered paintings are inspired by the natural world, she is currently engaged with English landscape, particularly the Wolds near her home in Huttons Ambo, North Yorkshire. Lesley worked for several years as an Art Therapist and community artist in a range of settings, including six years as Artist in Residence at York Hospital. She exhibits regularly and her work is in public and private collections through the UK and worldwide.
