Since her childhood in Turkey, Rebecca Erol has been drawn to nature and flowers, and has spent much of her life learning about them. She has attended botanical trips in the Mediterranean, is an avid gardener, holds a garden design qualification and enjoys creating unusual takes on favourite flowers through her camera lens. Specialising in graphic shots of plants and flora, her images often emerge unexpectedly at the end of a long photographic session in the studio or field. Rebecca adds; 'I find the bold colours of each individual type of flower alluring, and enjoy translating the subjects' unique hues and shapes into graphic images.' Rebecca has a background in publishing, and is mainly self taught. She is also a member of the Bureau of Freelance Photographers.
