The River Restaurant at The Lowry Hotel, Manchester

We were recently appointed artwork consultants on the recent refurbishment & redesign of ‘The River’ Restaurant at The Lowry Hotel, Manchester, exquisitely designed by Goddard Littlefair.

Our mix of bright & graphic abstract gallery artworks compliment the rich interior, with slimline brass frames for added glamour, balanced with greenery for relaxed and natural surroundings.

We commissioned a triptych of fabric artworks, as a nod to the huge cotton industry which is an integral part of Manchester’s heritage. The designs have been influenced by abstracted views of some of the iconic buildings and bridges in the nearby Salford Quays.

This project won this year’s Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2020 for the ‘UK Hotel’ category and was also nominated for a Society of British Interior Designers award in the ‘Restaurant Category’.
